Weekly Dime From Ya Boy

Wanna wish a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to TYKE and ABBI. Little late...but I love you guys and I hope it was a good one for you!!

Whats happening everyone? Italy is so beautiful. Today we got up early and are in Cosenza right now shopping with some of the Zone Leaders. On the way here I SAW SNOW IN ITALY. It was only like .025 of an inch....but there was snow falling from the sky above. It was sweet! I heard the weather back home is nice!! That is awesome!! I am still working out every morning here...I am really getting into good shape. I am going to start working on my speed when it warms up here. So something cool...Foosball ( I hope that is how you spell it ) is HUGE here in Italy. Everyone and their dog has a Foosball table. That will honestly be one of the first things that I buy when I get home. They are so much fun. Also I have found that Call of Duty is amazing conversation starter here in Italy with the teenage boys...Not exactly the most spiritual way to do it but it works. It rains about everyday here which is different for me. Me and My Trainer are still getting along and we always laugh. We work super hard and always have a good time. He is such a cool guy! I really like him!!

I love you all so much! This passed week was amazing....I cant wait for you to read the rest of this email. so here we go.....
First off, My italian is getting better. IT really is coming along, I think. It still is a challenge to understand what the people are saying....but I am getting much better. Zone conference was so good. The spirit there was SO STRONG, and the lessons taught were so GOOD. I loved zone conference....just the hole email thing chapped me a bit. The one thing that I got out of Zone Conf. was to BE FEARLESS.
So right after Zone Conference, which was in a different city, one of the elders invited me to go and teach an English Course with Him. One of the big finding tools we use here in Italy is teaching english for free. I was a little hisistant at first because it wasnt my own city...but I went anyways. SO we taught the class and after we always leave with a little spiritual thought. The elder read a scripture about trials and being tested...and when he was done I threw down the greatest testimony that I ever have given in Italian. I honestly don't even remember all that I said...but everyone was locked on me. I talked about my mom passing away and all of that...the spirit filled the room so fast. A 19 year old girl on the front row started to cry in the middle of my testimony. I almost cried. It was honestly the greatest 3 minutes of my life. After we finished 10 people from the english class all came up to me and apologized and shook my hand. One little old lady even gave me a hug...IT was so amazing and this other elder was so impressed. I hope I touched someone that night, and I hope they start looking for answers, and start looking for the gospel. It was seriously so great. I wish I could go back and re-live those few minutes.
After english course we went out and started handing out Pass-A-Long cards on the street. This was so fun. I gave out 5 Cards and talked with many people. Then I got some amazing Chocolate Gelato! It was the BOMB.
Then we returned to Crotone on thursday morning and taught another english course that night. We decided to give our spiritual thought on the Book of Mormon. He talked about it and I bore my testimony on it, and after we finished two people from the class came up to me and asked for a Book of Mormon to take home. It felt so good. so so so good.
Then yesterday I gave my First Talk in Italy. I talked about missionary work and why I decided to serve a mission...It was so hard to speak in Italian but it was a great experience. I spoke for about 10 minutes.. I talked about how my mom passed away and how much the plan of salvation means to me. Many people hd tears in there eyes and came up to me after sacrament and spoke to me about my mom. I feel so much closer to the ward now and I feel like they respect me more now as well. A lady from the ward called my trainer and told him how impressed she was. I thought that was pretty cool.
This gospel is such a beautiful thing. It is so amazing to see it change peoples lives and change their Whole Outlook on life. I love it so much. Dont get me wrong...It is so hard, but so worth it.
IT IS WORTH THE PAIN.
2 months are down...Time is going so fast. Sometimes we get so lost on the final destination, that we forget to find joy in the journey. This is hard being away from home...but I really am enjoying it. I love my city, my apartment, the branch...It is great! Being a missionary is seriously the best!!
My invitation this week is to be a little more outgoing. To smile at someone on the street, or say Hello in a store. You never know how much a simple smile can do for someone....It could change their whole day. So jsut try to smile or say hello to one person everyday! Most of all...Just be Happy Everyday!! This life is to be enjoyed.. not endured. Love this life beccause we only get one of them.
Also there are Miracles each and every day. Every Day. Out here I carry a little book in my pocket and I write down one miracle each and everyday. It truly is amazing to look back and see all the work that the Lord is doing. He is constantly working and taking care of His children.

I love you all so much. Everyone is always in my prayers every morning and night. I hope it is getting easier and I hope time is going a little faster. Sorry I dont have time to reply to everyone individually this week. I will next week for sure. I just want you all to know that I am so grateful for everyone. The amount of love, prayers, adn support that I have recieved is Crazy!! Thank you all so much! I truly have the best family in the WORLD!!
lastly....if you get the chance. Look up "Grateful for Temple Covenants" in the Liahona for Feb. 2015. It is so worth the read.
I love you all. Have the greatest week of all time. I will be praying for you all each day.

I know that one day Every Knee will Bow, and every Tongue will Confess that Jesus is the Christ.
He is Risen.
