I Love You

Hey there everyone!! I hope you all had the greatest Christmas ever. I Hope it was full of happiness, and love. Also I hope you were able to feel the LOVE that the Savior has for each any every one of us. I know I sure could feel that love. On christmas day, Elder Russell M. Nelson (from the 12 Apostles) and his wife came to speak to us. It was an amazing time and the the feel and spirit in the room completely changed when he walked in. It was sweet for sure.

It was so amazing to call home on Christmas and talk to everyone. It was so good to hear your voices and hear how everything is going back at home. Not going to lie after the call was over I had a really hard time....but then I realized that we only have one more Christmas to go. I love you guys so much. All of you.

So this week my testimony was strengthened deeply. I love prayer. Prayer has been my favorite thing to do out here when I am having a hard time or missing home. There is just something about talking to our Heavenly Father and having Him bless us with comfort. It is crazy to me to think that the Creator of the Universe wants to listen to my prayers. I love how He is there. He listens no matter how big or small the prayer is. I love it. I found this quote earlier this week and so I want to share it with you.

....WE often spend untold hours communicating with other people at an almost daily increasing rate. Are we not humbled to realize that our has always given us, from the Time of Adam and Eve, the power to communicate with Him through prayer?... Are we not in awe that the Creator of the universe, The God of Heaven and Earth, encourages us to pray to Him at any time, in any place, and for any amount of time?.... We do not have to wait in line nor pay a monthly fee. We don´t have to plug in a charger or be concerned with the time zones. We have been given an unlimited amount of ANYTIME MINUTES.

.......Do we not marvel as we recognize that when we pray, Our Father in Heaven is able to give us His full attention · without any other distractions? He sees us, listens, empathizes, and pours out His love and His Spirit upon us. We can communicate with our Father whether we are able to kneel before Him or speak to Him only though our Hearts and minds. We can be assured that He is listening and can answer us through impressions from the Holy Ghost.¨

i loved this quote. Out of all of the named He could have chosen for us to call Him...He chose Father. I know that God always hears and answers all of our prayers. Pray changes people. It changes the way you look it things in this life, it changes your heart, and it changes your mind. I have only been here for 3 weeks and I can already see all of the change that is inside of me. I love to pray to my Heavenly Father. SO my challenge to you all back at home is...When you are having a hard day, something is going right, or you have a question...Pray about it. I promise you that you will get an answer from Heaven.

So on christmas eve... me and the other elders in my district all had a sleepover in one room. There was only 6 of us but it was so fun. It was so fun that we decided to do it again tonight on NEW YEARS EVE. So we wont be getting much sleep tonight, but thats okay. Sleep is for the weak....just kidding...my bed has become my best friend here at the MTC. I don´t get to spend to much time in bed....but missionary work is amazing and I love it.

So 2015 is tomorrow. I hope you can all think of a few things to work on and things that you want to improve on. I know that I have my list of things that I want to improve on. Make a list and then Pray to our Heavenly Father to help us change so that we can better ourselves. I love this time of year. It truly is the best time of the YEAR. Change is a good thing. Heavenly Father gave us all weaknesses...He wants us to make WEAK things become STRONG.

I love you all so much back out home and I think about you guys all the time. You guys are always in all of my prayers and I hope you can fell the comfort from my prayers. Again it was so amazing to talk to you guys on Christmas. I cant wait to call home in just under three weeks again. I cant believe that I will be in ITALY in 3 weeks from right now. IM SO EXCITED and am already ready to get out of the MTC.
