THANKSGIVING!!!

FAM!!
Hello my incredible, wonderful fambam!! I hope you all had yourselves
a really great week. I hope you are excited for Thanksgiving and for
this amazing time of year. It is tough being away from everyone, but
it is wonderful to experience these different things in a whole new
culture and a whole new world practically. We had kind of a downer
week yet again unfortunately. We did our best to plan well and get
some lessons but every single lesson we set up this week ended up
getting cancelled. We only ended up having a bunch of Less Active
lessons, so that was a positive. I would like to Thank You all for the
emails and pictures this week. I am truly so blessed. I love you all!!

So this week, we didn't see any great big miracles and I don't really
have a lot to relay back to you all at home. We did not find ourselves
any new investigators and every stopped coming to English course. So I
apologize in advance, but this email is going to be pretty
weak.....but just know that all is well. I am healthy. I am happy. I'm
loving Anziano Da Ponte. Mistretta is sweet. Everything is great!!

Last week, on Wednesday we had our Zone Conference. Zone Conference is
always good time, because number 1 - The Spirit is BOOMING and number
2 - I get to see Anziano Eric Mika. We heard trainings on faith, the
importance of unity and all sorts of good stuff. I received a few
things from home. I got a hilarious package full of my favorite movie
quotes and a shirt from one of my best friends serving in the eastern
United States. I am seriously so grateful for all of the love and
support I get from everyone. Seriously I am the luckiest missionary
not only in Italy, but in the world. I would put money on that!

Thursday Evening, little old blind man Ninno, got us into a home.
There we met a classy younger guy ( probably 35 ) with a wife and two
little boys ( probably 12 and 8 ). Seriously this family is
incredible. We shared a small message on the family seemed to really
enjoy it. They told us to come back whenever we wanted and share more
with them. The dad is super charismatic, super classy, super kind and
super awesome. I could just picture this young family in my mind being
sealed in the family. I plan to return to there house this week and
get the ball rolling there. I am super excited for this family.

Other than that, not a ton happened. We worked hard, tried our
best....but didn't necessarily see the fruits of our labor in the
areas that we were hoping. That's alright. Everything always works out
for those that just love the people and give everything to helping
these people find true and everlasting happiness. We spent a few
evenings with Antonio and Lydia this week because their poor little
old mom is on her dead bed. Death is at the door and it is putting a
lot of stress and pain onto Antonio and Lydia. We tried to comfort
them the best week could and just be there for a support. They were
super grateful and it was something really good for us to do.

To close, I would like to let you all know about the sweet
Thanksgiving activity we have planned here. So we have a full
Thanksgiving Dinner planned. Mash Potatoes, Corn, Cranberries, Gravy,
Turkey, Ham......Everything. We are the only branch/ward that I know
of that is actually doing something on Thanksgiving. IM SO EXCITED!!
Anziano Da Ponte and I made some sweet invitations and took them
around to all of our investigators and potentials. It ought to be a
great night! I am super excited!! So I will get myself one incredible
Thanksgiving Dinner up in the mountains of Sicily and I hope that all
of you have an incredible Thanksgiving dinner back home. I apologize
that I hardly have anytime today to send emails, but just know that I
am all so grateful for each and everyone of you. I am so grateful for
the love and support that I have received my entire life. I am
grateful for all of you that have eternally effected my lived for the
better. I am grateful for my family, for my friends....for everything.
Truly, I am sorry that I don't have a lot of time, but I am grateful
for the small opportunities every single week to talk s little bit
back in forth. I am grateful for the mission field and for everything
that I have and will learn. I am grateful for that divine plan of
happiness and for a Father in Heaven that loves us enough to hurt us
sometimes. I am grateful for the happy times and also for the times of
difficulty. I am grateful for all of you. I love you all so much. Have
an amazing week and be safe. have a great THANKSGIVING!!

I love you all so much.
Never forget that,
Jard

I love you all!!!
